All classes are on-going throughout the year. New students may begin on any date as the first month is pro-rated.
Students are never required to sign a contract. Our policy is simple - fees are due the first week of each month. Reminders are sent out when fees are due.
Fees will be waived for any month in which a student requests a leave of absence in advance.
Student Requirements - Uniform, Handbook, Sparring Gear
All students are required to wear a traditional white karate dogi (uniform). You may purchase one at the dojo. Students are also required to purchase a student handbook ($15). Additionally, all students will require safety/sparring gear for partner drills and sparring. Equipment is available for sale at the dojo. Or, students are welcome to purchase their own. Please check with instructors for equipment specs.

Trial Class Required for Ages 5 - 8
A trial class is the best way to determine if your child is ready for a structured karate class. All kids ages 5 - 8 are required to try a class first before joining. This gives your child a chance to experience what the class is like, as well as understand class expectations. The instructor will provide feedback and determine whether your child is ready to join the class. Students must be willing and able to follow simple instructions, be cooperative and behave in an acceptable manner. Please complete a registration form for trial classes as well - as this is a necessary insurance requirement.

Attendance: students are expected to attend classes a minimum of twice per week. This is necessary in order for students to gain the experience and skills needed to achieve rank standards. Students may participate only once per week - however, they must not expect to achieve rank promotions in the same amount of time as students training multiple days per week.
Teen/adult rates also apply to younger advanced students who attend the adult class.
Payment options include check, cash or Venmo (preferred). New students will receive a student package with all details.
Late payments - a $10 late fee will be applied to payments not received after the 10th of the month. Payment not received until after the 15th of the month must also include the following month's fee.
